“Ask for Sally” was an investigative series where London artist Lawrence Perry wanted to create a talking space around sexual assault. Lawrence anonymously painted and interviewed six survivors who felt as if the project would be helpful for them. Lawrence wanted this to exist beyond a gallery environment so I created an animated video and soundtrack where his mother (also a survivor), narrates the subjects’ answers. 

 

The exhibition film played at the Slade School of Fine Art Summer Show 2021 in London.

The exhibition took place, 5-17th July 2021.
