GOLD OBIE AWARD WINNER OOH CUSTOM INSTALLATION
Pizza Inn asked us to help promote their new LTO aimed at rural hunting communties: A pizza with venison, wild boar and elk. So obviously we named it after one of America’s most beloved woodland friends–The Bambi and Friends Pizza.
To help spread the word, we created a double billboard teasing Bambi’s return. Underneath, several hunting decoys gathered around the board with tags asking passerbys to steal the free buffet tags (and not the decoys!). Pizza Inn fans got a good laugh and the Bambi and Friends Pizza sold out in less than a week.

As America’s Hometown Pizza Buffet, Pizza Inn recognizes its role as the backbone – not just as an organization, but as a cause – of each community it calls home. It’s a position with mileage, and a tinge of nostalgia. For this project, we are building upon this brand position with an updated logo and refreshed JoJo. Our aim is to balance Pizza Inn’s heritage and nostalgic appeal with a new and reinvigorated brand identity.
